29 CFR 1910.147(d): The established procedure for the application of energy control (the lockout or tagout procedures) was not done in sequence as required by 29 CFR 1910.147(d)(1)-(6): a) MTD Consumer Group Inc. - Willard, Ohio: On or about May 5, 2016, the employer did not ensure that the washer pumps on the parts washer for paint system lines 2, 3, and 4 were de-energized, isolated, and locked out prior employees entering the washer to retrieve parts that fell off of the hang line carrier, exposing employees to potential thermal burn injuries from cleaner that was heated to 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
