29 CFR 1910.29(a)(3)(ii): The minimum platform width for any work level shall not be less than 20 inches for mobile scaffolds (towers). On or about 13 January 2016 and at times prior thereto, two workers were performing welding and cutting operations from a mobile tubular welded scaffold with planks measuring 19 inches in width, exposing the workers to the hazard of falling approximately 8 feet, 6 inches to the floor below.
