29 CFR 1915.1000(a)(2): The employee's exposure exceeded the 8-hour Time-Weighted Average (TWA) exposure limit for that substance listed in Table Z in any 8-hour work shift of a 40-hour work week. a)MMF1 Pipe Shop area at column H5: On or about June 3rd, 2014, and prior to, an employee was exposed to copper fume at an 8 hour calculated Time Weighted Average (TWA) of 7.9409 milligrams grams per cubic meter of air which is 79.409 times the 8 hour time weighted average PEL of 0.100 milligrams per cubic meter of air while conducting welding job tasks utilizing a Miller Dynasty 200 welding machine. Results were calculated for a 355 minute sampling period. b)MMF1 Pipe Shop area at column H4/H5: On or about June 3rd, 2014, and prior to, an employee was exposed to copper fume at an 8 hour calculated Time Weighted Average (TWA) of 0.1651 milligrams per cubic meter of air which is 1.651 times the 8 hour time weighted average PEL of 0.100 milligrams per cubic meter of air while conducting welding job tasks utilizing a Miller Dynasty 200 welding machine. Results were calculated for a 442 minute sampling period. c)MMF1 Pipe Shop area at column H5: On or about June 3rd, 2014, and prior to, an employee was exposed to copper fume at an 8 hour calculated Time Weighted Average (TWA) of 0.1248 milligrams per cubic meter of air which is 1.248 times the 8 hour time weighted average PEL of 0.100 milligrams per cubic meter of air while conducting welding job tasks utilizing a Miller Dynasty 200 welding machine. Results were calculated for a 444 minute sampling period.
