Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 003A Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and maintain, a written hazard communication program which at least describes how the criteria specified in paragraphs (f), (g), and (h) of this section for labels and other forms of warning, material safety data sheets, and employee information and training will be met: (a) Detweiler Lumber, LLC, 46 Front Mountain Road, Allensville, PA - The employer did not develop or implement a written hazard communication program for employees exposed to hazardous chemicals, including but not limited to No. 2 diesel fuel, gasoline and #880 Crown & Chassis Grease on a daily basis, thereby exposing employees to possible injuries, on or about October 15, 2013. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
