29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) James Daryl Seibel-DBA JDS Construction. - On or about May 21, 2013, employees were walking and working on wood truss and purlin members, approximately 22.8 feet ground level, were not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. b) James Daryl Seibel-DBA JDS Construction. - On or about May 21, 2013, employees standing on a wall girt while fastening roof truss ends to vertical column ears, approximately 14 feet above ground level, were not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.
