Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 003A Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement and maintain at the workplace, a written hazard communication program which at least describes how the criteria specified in paragraphs (f), (g) and (h) of this section for labels and other forms of warning, material safety data sheets, and employee information and training will be met: a) At the facility 1199 Newbridge Road North Bellmore. On or about February 28th, 2025, the employer did not develop, implement and maintain a hazard communication program for employees engaged in car washing and quick lube operation. Employees utilized products such as but not limited to detergents , soaps, acid, solvents degreaser, waxes, motor oil, antifreeze, and transmissions fluids. Products such as antifreeze, cleaner and degreasers are corrosive and contains ethylene glycol, ammonium bifluoride and Hydrofluoric acid. Note: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
