29 CFR 1910.303(b)(1): Electrical equipment was not free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that the employer did not ensure the safety of the equipment pursuant to the considerations in sections (i) through (viii) of 29 CR 1910.303(b)(1): a) Building 3, Speed Cut, Timber Mill, MH6G - 20, S/N Y0559: On and prior to December 4, 2024, employees worked within three feet of the main power cable which had been spliced/repaired with wire nuts and tape. Conductors were visible between the tape and cable jacket. The power cable is a SEOW-A, 4,4, which is rated for a maximum of 600 volts. b) Building 3, Speed Cut, Timber Mill, MH6G - 20, S/N Y0559: On and prior to December 4, 2024, employees worked within 18" of conductors projecting out of the motor for head saw six. c) Building 3, Speed Cut, Timber Mill, MH6G - 20, S/N Y0559: On and prior to December 4, 2024, employees worked within three feet of a cable which had a damaged jacket and exposed internal conductors.
