Respirators must be used during activities listed in sections (i) through (viii) of this paragraph. a) On or about August 21, 2024, the employer failed to provide appropriate respirators to employees as required by the standard, which includes when Class I asbestos work is conducted, while conducting pipe insulation removal that contained asbestos. Affected employees utilized N95 filtering facepiece respirators.
