29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4): Ladders shall be used only for the purpose for which they were designed. On or about May 28, 2024, with respect to a worksite located at 2408/2410 Canter Lane, Green Bay, WI 54304, an employee using a Gorilla Model GLMPXA-14 Multi-Position Ladder was exposed to fall hazards when the employer did not ensure that the employee used the ladder as designed. The employee was using the ladder in the step-ladder configuration and was observed standing on the top rung of each side of the ladder, increasing the chances of tipping the ladder during use.
