29 CFR 1926.451(b)(2): Each scaffold platform and walkway was not at least 18 inches (46 cm) wide: At the workplace located at 2925 Industrial Road, Junction City, Kansas, the employer failed to ensure that platforms which employees were utilizing to conduct work was at least 18 inches (46 cm) wide. An employee stepped onto the midrail of a mobile elevated work platform to elevate his work level height. The guardrail surface was not at least 18 inches wide and exposed the employee to a fall hazard of approximately 20 feet - 9 inches.
