29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): Employer had not developed, implemented, and/or maintained a written hazard communication program which included the requirements outlined in 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1)(i) and (e)(1)(ii) and specified how the criteria specified in (f)(, (g), and (h) will be met: On or about January 1, 2024, employees performing warehousing activities in the Tender and True Pet Warehouse of Omaha Industries, Inc. located at 8635 Whitmore Circle, Omaha, Nebraska were exposed to chemical contact hazards in that the employer did not develop and implement a written hazard communication program for chemicals/products encountered during powered industrial truck battery filling and battery acid clean-up. Instances included but were not limited to: i. Quick Cable Industrial Battery Cleaner and ii. Powered industrial truck lead acid batteries.
