29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: a) On or about February 6, 2024, employees were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 18 feet where a portable ladder did not extend at least 3 feet above the landing surface of the pitched roof. No abatement certification or documentation required for this violation.
