29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented, and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: (a)Global Harvest Foods, LLC at 103 South Broadway Avenue, Miller, SD 57362: On or about and at times prior to January 4, 2024, the employer did not ensure procedures were utilized to control potentially hazardous energy prior to employees conducting maintenance on the seed truck collection auger system. This condition exposed employees to amputation hazards associated with unexpected re-energization of machinery.
