29 CFR 1926.1153(c)(1): Employer did not fully and properly implement the engineering controls, work practices, and respiratory protection specified for the task on Table 1(ii): a) 70 Magnolia Drive, Freehold NJ: The company did not implement wet methods or dust extraction system when cutting concrete and Belgium Block with a Stihl TS 420 power saw. The concrete and Belgium Block contained crystalline silica. The concrete mixture contained approximately 47% Silicon Dioxide (crystalline silica). Observed on or about 11/16/2023. IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
