29 CFR 1926.454(b): The employer did not have each employee who was involved in erecting, disassembling, moving, operating, repairing, maintaining, or inspecting a scaffold trained by a competent person to recognize any hazards associated with the work in question. (a) On or about November 7,2023, the employer did not ensure that all employees involved in erecting, disassembling, moving, operating, repairing, maintaining, or inspecting the Werner pump jack scaffold had been trained to recognize and address the hazards associated with this scaffold and how to reduce or eliminate those hazards prior to use of the scaffold.
