29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a: At 911 - B Rivo Place Tarpon Springs, Florida; On or about March 8, 2023, the rear of the press brakes such as the Cincinnati 5 and Accurpress was not guarded to prevent contact with the rear gauge. b: At 911 - B Rivo Place Tarpon Springs, Florida; On or about March 8, 2023, employees operating the Vertical band saw to cut stainless steel parts, were exposed to struck-by hazards created by the reciprocating motion of the blade, in that, the unused portion of the blade was not guarded.
