29 CFR 1926.959(d)(3)(iii): The employer did not ensure that each employee was protected from hazards that could arise from mechanical equipment contact with energized lines or equipment by using the best available ground to minimize the time the lines or electric equipment remain energized: On or about 01/04/2023, on a worksite located at the intersection of SW 107th Avenue and 162nd Terrace in Miami, Florida, an employee was exposed to electrocution hazards when the employer did not ensure that grounding of the equipment and insulating protective equipment was utilized before employees began working near an energized and uninsulated 7,620-volt overhead power line.
