29 CFR 1926.403(b)(1)(iii):Safety of equipment was not determined on the basis of electrical insulation. At a worksite located at lot 1156 of the Woodland Trails residential development in Greenwood, Missouri, an employer exposed employees to electrocution and electric shock hazards. The employer exposed the employees to these hazards by allowing the use of an extension cord that had damage to its insulation.
