29 CFR 1910.219(f)(3): Sprocket wheels and chains that were seven (7) or less feet from the floor or platform were not enclosed: a) On or about July 28, 2022, and at times prior thereto, located at the rear of the Kebo Pin Setter Bowling Machines, employees retrieving bowling balls and releasing stuck pins were exposed to unguarded chains and sprockets driving the ball return mechanisms, exposing the employees to caught-in hazards. b) On or about July 28, 2022, and at times prior thereto, employees accessing the front and back of the Kebo Pin Setter Bowling Machines were exposed to unguarded chains and sprockets driving the pin setters, exposing the employees to caught-in hazards.
