29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer did not conduct an annual or more frequent inspection of the energy control procedure to ensure that the procedure and requirements of this standard were followed: a.) Plas-Tec Corp. on or about July 13, 2022, at the address of 601 W. Indiana St. Edon, OH: The employer did not ensure periodic audits of the energy control procedures were completed at least annually. Employees are required to perform mold change activities on machines including but not limited to the #13 plastic injection machine which requires energy control procedures that have not been reviewed for deficiencies. In this condition employees were exposed to burn hazards.
