29 CFR 1910.36(d)(1): Employee(s) were not able to open an exit route door from the inside at all times without keys, tools, or special knowledge: A. Production Area, near L7: On, or about, May 12, 2022, the exterior exit door was locked with a dead-bolt. B. Front Exit, Employee Break Area: On, or about, June 17, 2022, employees were required to depress a button located next to the door to allow the exit door to open. Abatement Note: Consult with the Fire Marshal regarding acceptable corrective action for Instance B. C. Side exit door, near old garage: On, or about, June 17, 2022, an exterior door located in the exit path was locked and provided with signage warning employees not to unlock the door.
