29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i):The employer did not ensure that each powered industrial truck operator is competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (l): (a) Marine Tech Wire & Cable Inc., 631 South Richland Avenue, York, Pennsylvania -The employer did not provide training and evaluation on powered industrial trucks as required by the standard to all employees who the employer permitted to operate powered industrial trucks, such as the Toyota sit-down rider forklift, exposing employees to hazards including, but not limited to, tipping of a forklift or struck-by a forklift, on or about February 9, 2022. No abatement certification or documentation required.
