29 CFR 1910.184(c)(1): Slings that are damaged or defective shall not be used: On or about November 17, 2021, the employer failed to ensure that the nylon slings being used with the overhead 3 ton yellow Yale crane were in good condition in that they were free of excessive dirt, rips and tears. Employees are exposed to possible struck by hazards if one of the slings falter when in use.
