29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The employer did not provide adequate training to ensure that the purpose and function of the energy control program was understood by employees: On or about May 21, 2021 and times prior thereto, the employer did not adequately train maintenance employees on the purpose and function of the energy control program prior to performing maintenance on the tarp system for the gravel trailers, exposing employees to struck by hazards in the event of an unexpected release of stored energy.
