29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1): A written respiratory protection program that included the provisions in 29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1)(i) - (ix) with worksite specific procedures was not established and implemented for required respirator use: Forestar Industries located at a worksite at 2221 North Belcrest, Springfield, MO 65806: The employer failed to protect employees from respiratory hazards. This was demonstrated on or about January 13, 2021, and at times prior to, the employer did not develop and implement a written respiratory protection program with worksite-specific procedures for respirator use that included all provisions in 29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1)(i) - (ix). The employer required employees to wear respirators throughout their shifts as a requirement of their job duties during certain operations in the facility. a) Employees in the Buffer/Passivating Area wore N95 respirators and full-face elastomeric respirators while performing their job duties. b) Employees in the Finishing/Packaging Area wore N95 respirators while performing their job duties.
