29 CFR 1910.151(c):Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a) Custodian Room/ Roopville Elementary School - On or about 12/15/2020, and at times prior to, the employer exposed employees to eye injuries in that employer failed to provide facilities for quick flushing of the eyes for immediate use of employees working with hazardous chemicals such as, but not limited to Virex II 256 One-Step Disinfectant Cleaner (corrosive), Stride Flora HC Neutral Cleaner (corrosive) and Crew NA SC Non-Acid Bowl & Bathroom Disinfectant Cleaner (corrosive). Kellermeyer Bergensons Services, LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard, 29 CFR 1910.151(c), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1170728, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 12/23/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 653 Dutchess Turnpike, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603.
