29 CFR 1910.134(a)(2): A respirator was not provided by the employer to each employee when such equipment was necessary to protect the health of the employee: The employer is failing to protect employees from chlorine dioxide, generated from acidified sodium chlorite (ASC)in the fabrication area.. This was most recently documented on June 9, 2020 at the worksite located at 1921 West US Highway 50, Lone Jack, Missouri. Employees were exposed to levels above the Permissible Exposure Limits (PELs) for chlorine dioxide (1.3 and 1.4 times the OSHA PEL of 0.1 parts per million). In this area a respirator was not provided by the employer to each employee.
