Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 003A Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.107(c)(6): Electrical wiring and equipment not subject to deposits of combustible residues but located in a spraying area as herein defined were not explosion-proof type approved for Class I, group D locations and did not otherwise conform to the provisions of subpart S of this part, for Class I, Division 1, Hazardous Locations: ADHESIVE SPRAY AREA: On or about and at times prior to March 12, 2020, electrical wiring and equipment including, but not limited to outlets, overhead lighting, a pinch roller, a lift, power tools, and a forklift, were used within 20 feet of the area where a Category 2 flammable adhesive was sprayed on boards to attach laminate as part of the cabinet manufacturing process. The electrical equipment was not approved for hazardous locations.
