29 CFR 1910.1025(d)(4)(i): Where the initial determination showed the possibility of employee exposure at or above the action level, representative monitoring was not conducted for each employee in the workplace who was exposed to lead: a. On or about February 11, 2020, and at times prior, at 39 Line process room, the employer did not conduct Lead air monitoring that was representative of employee Lead exposure during maintenance tasks including ,but not limited to calibration of gas burners below the Lead pot, Lead pot exhaust fan checks, and replacing kaowool for the Lead pot. Employees were exposed to Lead. b. On or about February 13, 2020, and at times prior, at 39 Line process room, the employer did not conduct personal Lead air monitoring that was representative of employee Lead exposure during tasks including, but not limited to fully drossing the Lead pot and vacuuming the floor around the Lead pot. An employee who fully drossed the Lead pot and vacuumed the floor around the Lead pot was exposed to Lead in excess of the Lead PEL.
