29 CFR 1910.1200(b)(4)(ii): In work operations where employees only handled chemicals in sealed containers which were not opened under normal conditions of use, the employer did not maintain copies of any material safety data sheets that were received with the shipment. a) Dollar Tree Store #3041: The employer did not ensure that safety data sheets for the shipped sealed chemicals were readily accessible to employees who handled the sealed containers of chemicals such as, but not limited to, LA's Totally Awesome Bang Shower and Bath Cleaner pH 3.0-4.0, LA's Totally Awesome Bleach pH 10.0-11.0, and LA's Totally Awesome Liquid Ammonia pH 3.0-4.0; on or about 02/18/20. NOTE: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
