29 CFR 1910.179(j)(2)(iii): Monthly inspections of hooks, with a certification record which includes the date of inspection, the signature of the person who performed the inspection and the serial number, or other identifier, of the hook inspected, were not performed: On or about August 8, 2019, the employer failed to ensure Spanmaster crane, with a 2 ton Yale hoist block, model number KEL2-20RT15/5S2, serial number K1055010 and a Spanmaster crane, with a 3 ton Columbus McKinnon hoist block, model number RRT2, serial number L-052CML were inspected on a monthly basis to ensure the hooks did not have safety issues.
