Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 003A Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.110(b)(6)(ii): Each individual container was not located the minimum specified distance from an important building or group of buildings in accordance to Table H-23: The employer does not ensure a 500 gallon above ground storage tank of LPG is located at least ten (10) feet away from the greenhouse building where employees work. This violation was observed on or about May 30, 2019, in the maintenance area, exposing employees to fire and explosion hazards. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation describing the steps taken to ensure the 500 gallon LPG tank is not located within ten (10) feet of any building.
