29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a. 406 Roycefield Road, Hillsborough, NJ The employer did not ensure effective machine guarding was provided to protect employees from hazards created by point of operation. Employees engaged in the manufacture of specialized tubing operated equipment that included, but was not limited to, Kains, KB-15ND bending machine that had improperly placed electronic safety devices (mats) that did not prevent employees from placing body parts into the point of operation and no other means of guarding. Violation occurred on or about April 24, 2019
