Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 003A Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: a) 908 Belmont St., Springfield, MA: On or about December 31, 2018, the employer did not provide a training program to each employee working from a tubular welded steel scaffold and steep pitched roof who were exposed to fall hazards in excess of 20 feet. Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29CFR1903.19(d)(1).
