29 CFR 1910.132(f)(1): The employer did not provide training to each employee who is required by this section to use personal protective equipment: a) Refuse Collection Trucks: Employees load the packer of rear loading refuse trucks at the curbside in a variety of communities and operate the packer. Employees are exposed to being struck-by vehicles, refuse and debris. Although work rules had been instituted requiring the use of high visibility safety vests, safety goggles, durable work gloves and hard soled work shoes, the employer did not provide training to each employee who is required by this section to use personal protective equipment or about April 10, 2018 through September 4, 2018.
