29 CFR 1910.102(a): Cylinders. Employers must ensure that the in-plant transfer, handling, storage, and use of acetylene in cylinders comply with the provisions of CGA Pamphlet G-1-2003 ("Acetylene") (Compressed Gas Association, Inc., 11th ed., 2003). a. 580 Port Carteret Drive, Carteret, NJ - Maintenance The employer did not ensure acetylene cylinders, not in use, were properly secured by use of chains in a location which would prevent accidental contact or damage in accordance with CGA Pamphlet G-1. Employees stored compressed gas cylinders free standing, unsecured, on the welding cart and tied with a hemp rope to an oxygen cylinder. Violation observed on or about April 11, 2018
