29 CFR 1926.501(b)(2)(i): Each employee who was constructing a leading edge 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: Note: If the employer could demonstrate that it was infeasible or created a greater hazard to use these systems, a fall protection plan meeting the requirements of paragraph (k) of 1926.502 should have been developed and implemented. a) Work site was located at 235 Grand Street, Jersey City, NJ 07302 Employees performing cast-in-place concrete leading edge work were not protected from falling approximately 9 feet to lower levels. Violation occurred on or about December 8th, 2017 and December 11th, 2017.
