29 CFR 1910.29(b)(1): The top edge height of top rails, or equivalent guardrail system members, were not 42 inches, plus or minus 3 inches, above the walking-working surface: The employer does not ensure that employees working on elevated platforms are provided with adequate fall protection. This violation was observed on or about November 15, 2017 in the plating area, where the top guardrail height measured below 39 inches, exposing the employee to the hazard of falls. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, within (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation describing the steps that is taking to ensure elevated working levels are provided with adequate guardrails.
