29 CFR 1910.219(d)(1): Pulley(s) with part(s) seven feet or less from the floor or work platform were not guarded in accordance with the requirements specified in 29 CFR 1910.219(m) and (o): The employer is failing to protect employees from caught in hazards. This was most recently documented on 05/31/17 at the establishment located at S. 4th Street in Osage City, Kansas. Employees engaged in maintenance activities using the Bridgeport Mill, serial number J-120120, in the maintenance shop were exposed to caught in hazards in that the housing guards covering the step pulleys, less than 7 feet above the ground level, were missing.
