Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 003A Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): Employers shall develop, implement, and maintain at each workplace, a written hazard communication program which at least describes how the criteria specified in paragraphs (f), (g), and (h) of this section for labels and other forms of warning, safety data sheets, and employee information and training will be met. WORKSHOP: The employer had not established and implemented a written hazard communication program, including the Globalized Harmonized System where employees were required to handle and work with chemicals, such as (but not limited to) inks, alcohols, Prisco Q6514A, press wash, and toners. The Harty Press, Inc. dba Harty Integrated Solutions was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1), which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1189993, Citation Number 1, Item Number 5a, issued on 03-06-2017 with respect to a workplace located at 25 James Street, New Haven, CT 06513 and became a final order 05-08-2017.
