29 CFR 1910.1030(d)(4)(iii)(A)(2)(i): During use, containers for contaminated sharps were not easily accessible to personnel or located as close as was feasible to the immediate area where sharps were used or could be reasonably anticipated to be found: PATIENT ROOMS On, or, about April 4, 2017, contaminated sharps, such as used disposable razors used on patients, were not placed inside of a portable sharps container prior to disposal in designated contaminated sharps containers located in nurses' carts, dirty utility room or showers.
