29 CFR 1910.119(d)(3)(ii): The employer shall document that equipment complies with recognized and generally accepted good engineering practices. a) On or about March 7, 2017, there was not an eyewash/safety shower in the engine room as required by International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration (IIAR) 2-2014 Section 6.7.1. b) On or about March 7, 2017, the oil pot PO4B01 was not provided with a self-closing valve as required by International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration (IIAR) 2-2014 Section 5.9.3. c) On or about March 7, 2017, the .75 inch HTRS pipe section associated with Oil Pot OP4B01 was mislabeled HTRL. International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration (IIAR) 2-2014 Section 5.14.5 requires ammonia piping being properly labeled. d) On or about March 7, 2017, several outdoor ammonia pipe section labeling was illegible or missing information. International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration (IIAR) 2-2014 Section 5.14.5 requires ammonia piping being properly labeled. e) On or about March 7, 2017, Valve HV1A17, Ammonia Transfer Pump #1 PU4B04, Strainer STR6N02, Strainer STR 6N03, Valve FCV 6N03, Valve FCV 6B16 and Strainer STR 6B17 were missing identification tags. International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration (IIAR) 2-2014 Section 5.14.2 requires refrigeration equipment to be labeled.
