29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section:( a) On or about 11/8/2016, In the facility: Employees were performing maintenance and die changes on equipment such as, but not limited to mechanical power presses, turret press, and a tumbler. The equipment had energy sources such as electrical, pneumatic, and potential energies. The company had not developed procedures and ensured that the equipment is locked out prior to employee exposure. Abatement certification is required for this item.
