29 CFR 1910.303(g)(2)(i): Except as elsewhere required or permitted by Subpart S of Part 1910, live parts of electric equipment operating at 50 volts or more were not guarded against accidental contact by use of approved cabinets or other forms of approved enclosures or by any of the means identified in paragraphs (A), (B), (C), and (D) of 29 CFR 1910.303(g)(2)(i): a) Dana Rail Care, Inc. Tank Car Maintenance & Repair Shop Upstairs Compressor Room, Wilmington, DE - On or about 7/21/2016, the employer failed to guard the 110-volt energized metal contacts within the wall-mounted outlet box containing the light switch for this room. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, the employer must submit abatement certification, required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
