29 CFR 1910.37(a)(2): Exit access(es) were not arranged so that it would not be necessary to travel toward any area of high hazard in order to reach the nearest exit, and the path of travel was not effectively shielded from the high hazard location by suitable partitions or other physical barriers: a) Mavis Tire Supply Corp. dba Mavis Discount Tires/Westfield, NJ- Back Room: Employer did not ensure that exit access was free of hazards. Compressed gases such as but not limited to Oxygen and Acetylene were stored next to the emergency exit door an area normally used or intended for the safe exit of people. Condition observed on or about March 30, 2016.
