29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets: a) Work Site: 434 Rockaway Valley Road, Boonton, NJ. The employer had not provided hardhats and ensured their use when employees were exposed to struck-by injuries to the head from rocks or other materials such as tools and piping while working in the base of a trench. Violation observed on or about 10/01/2014.
