29 CFR 1910.29(a)(3)(i): The maximum work level height exceed four (4) times the minimum or least base dimensions of any mobile ladder stand or mobile work platform. Where the basic mobile unit does not meet this requirement, suitable outrigger frames shall be employed to achieve this least base dimension, or provisions shall be made to guy or brace the unit against tipping. a) Loading dock at 221 W. 38th St: On or about September 18, 2014 An employee worked from an elevated Snorkel platform lift which exceed the minimum base dimension by greater than four times. The equipment was used without the outriggers being used.
