29 CFR 1910.253(b)(2)(ii): Assigned storage spaces for cylinders were not located where cylinders could not be knocked over or damaged by passing or falling objects, or subject to tampering by unauthorized persons: The employer does not ensure that storage spaces for cylinders were located where cylinders could not be knocked over or damaged by passing or falling objects. This violation was observed on or about August 21, 2014, at the plasma water table area where employees are exposed to fire and explosion hazards where cylinders of propylene were stored and used in an area where large steel plates are moved and stored next to the cylinders. Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the abatement date, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that cylinders are located where they could not be knocked over or damaged by passing or falling objects.
