29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer did not conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirement of this standard were being followed: The employer did not ensure that energy control procedures were inspected at least annually to ensure that procedures were in were compliant with 1910.147 while performing servicing and maintenance. Employees were exposed to unexpected start-up of machinery while utilizing inadequate procedures that were not inspected at least annually. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
