29 CFR 1926.651(h)(1): Employees were working in an excavation in which there was accumulated water, or excavations in which water was accumulating, and adequate precautions had not been taken to protect employees against the hazards posed by water accumulation: On or about April 4, 2014, at the above addressed jobsite, water was not removed from an excavation that measured approximately 17 feet long, 12 feet wide, and 6 feet deep. Water had accumulated to a knee-high depth of approximately 18 inches on the exposed employee.
